The average transaction price of new houses in Shenzhen for the week ended March 7 was 18,300 yuan per square meter, representing a decline of 3,040 yuan per square meter from the previous week, reports Securities Times.
According to statistics released by Shenzhen's Urban Planning Land and Resources Commission, the average daily transaction volume of new houses for the week ended March 7 hit 55 units, an increase of 26.56 percent from the previous week which recorded total transaction volume of 305 units.
For the week ended March 7, total transaction value for new houses hit 618 million yuan, an increase of 18.45 percent week-on-week.
In the same period, total transaction volume of new houses hit 33,800 square meters, an increase of 38.16 percentage from the previous week.
The transaction volume of previously-owned houses in Shenzhen in the period from March 1 to March 5 hit 1,512 units.
